The Value of the Arts to Our Community

The arts affect our economy by their impact on local quality of life through the attraction of individuals and companies to a desirable place to live and work. The arts promote creativity, innovation, communication and are an expression of what it truly means to be human.  Diverse expressions of what is art, what influences its form and how it makes an individual "feel" act as connectors between art creators and individuals consuming their work.

Communities that support the arts do so because it inspires and helps connect citizens of all ages while also attracting individuals to visit or relocate to the area, helping spur the local economy.
